Kunst- und Auktionshaus Hans Dieter Kleinhenz has been a fixture in the Mannheim art market for more than four decades. The house occupies a historically protected Gründerzeit building with over 800 square metres of exhibition space across three floors, allowing it to present a genuinely broad range of categories simultaneously, from European glass and ceramics to jewelry, watches, and works by recognized modern masters.
The house's strongest categories are glass and ceramics, which reflect the deep collecting traditions of the Rhine-Neckar region. Kleinhenz has also handled editions and originals by internationally recognized artists including Salvador Dali, Henri Matisse, and Marc Chagall. The business operates as an eingetragener Kaufmann under founder Hans Dieter Kleinhenz, a traditional proprietorial structure common among established German regional auction houses.
