Gomer & Andersson was founded on 8 April 1929 by Nils Andersson and David Gomer. Originally focused on rural and livestock auctions, the company pivoted toward urban property auctions in the 1970s and moved to its current headquarters at Industrigatan 36 in Linkoping in 1985. The firm has since expanded to Norrkoping (2016), Nykoping (2020), and Jonkoping, making it one of the most established auction chains in eastern Sweden.
