Colombos is an auction house located in the Eimsbüttel district of Hamburg, founded in 2011 by Oliver Diekert, who had previously worked as an expert and branch manager at other auction houses. From the outset, Diekert positioned Colombos as a modern house combining live auction expertise with the reach of online bidding, running daily live auction sessions through the Auctionet platform.
The house operates from Scheideweg 35 in Hamburg's 20253 postal district. Colombos holds free valuations at its Hamburg premises and holds regular sale-day sessions. The auction record reveals a strong curatorial focus on post-war Italian and Scandinavian design. Significant results include an Ettore Sottsass Ultrafragola mirror, a Nanna Ditzel desk at 42,854 EUR, and a Drocco and Mello Gufram cactus sculpture - demonstrating that Colombos handles some of the most recognizable objects in 20th-century design.
